This Sunday 12 May the an Riocht Challenge - in partnership with Chest Heart & Stroke have organised a Charity Climb to the top of Slieve Donard in memory of 12 year old Conal Baldwin. This is a fundraising event and we would like encourage as many Club Members (particularly the youth) to support the Baldwin family and attend the 'Climb for Conal'. * Well done to the U14's who continue to play with commitment and determination throughout the ongoing series of league games. Last week, a very dominant An Riocht side defeated the Baileghlas lads, but confidence was restored following a full-hearted team display against league leaders Mitchell's. Despite again coming out on the losing side, the players enjoyed the free flowing game. The U-14's had an away game earlier this week against St. John Bosco and next Monday evening they take on Longstone at the Valley Road.

* Baileghlas U-12's lads performed extremely well at the Valley Road on Sunday against neighbours Longstone. This was the proverbial game of two halves with a strong wind affecting the outcome. Baileghlas played with the wind in the 1st half and with two goals from Sean Quinn, points from Paul Quinn and Callum Stevenson they led 2 -3 to 1 point at half time. The second half, it was backs to the wall with exceptional performances from Keelin Kearney in goals and Matthew Cunningham and Matthew Brennan in defence. Ryan Higgins also had some great blocks but in the end, Longstone finished the stronger team and won by 5 points. Well done to all the Lads. Training continues on Wed night 6.45pm - 7.45pm at Glassdrumman with a home match on Sunday 12th May in Glassdrumman at the earlier time of 10.30am.
