Jack & Jill Foundation
Folamh Limited is the recycling partner of the Jack and Jill Foundation and is constantly trying to develop new ways of raising funds for the sick children cared for by Jack & Jill.
The Jack and Jill 'Phones for Kits' appeal has been a huge success with many clubs registered and receiving equipment all over the country. In an exciting new development now every club can also recycle video games as well as used mobile phones. It is as simple as recycling the phones, we simply collect the games in the phone recycling bins we already have and they will count towards receiving products for our club.
We give Jack & Jill old mobile phones and video games and they give the club sports equipment!
It is estimated that in any one household with young children there are at least 18 old games
Here's what we are looking for:
Games compatible with: Xbox, Wii, Playstation 2 and 3 , PSP, Ds, DSi, DSi XL and DS3d.
Each game has to be under 3 years of age and in reasonable condition and complete in its box and with cover.
There are two recycling bins at Dunavil so please support this worthy cause and the club by donating old mobile phones and video games.
Summer Scheme
The KYC Summer Scheme begins on Monday 4th July with an Induction Day from 11am; on Tuesday there is a trip to the Magical Maize Maze and Funny Farm; on Wednesday to mark 'National Childrens Art Day' there are arts and crafts; Thursday Minor Games and DVD ice cream party; and the week ends with a visit to W5 for interactive workshops on 'creative colours' and 'forensic finger fun'.Your browser may not support display of this image.
