Ballycran were crowned back-to-back Down SHC champions for the first time since 1994-95 yesterday.
The Cran's were 1-20 to 1-13 winners over Portaferry at Ballygalget in what was a repeat of last year's decider. Their number one supporter Joe Brown was delighted by the success.
Wearing a Wexford jersey, Joe joined captain Padraig Flynn for the presentation afterwards and got the chance to lift the Jeremiah McVeigh Cup.
Joe, who received the Junior Club Personality of the Year award last November, will be hoping Ballycran can deliver a first Ulster title in 26 years.
Well done to our senior hurlers but is this not what the #gaa is all about? Well said Joe! #utc #downchampions2019 #blackandamber #socialmediasensation pic.twitter.com/gjGZcxEKtd
