Registration Day - will be on Saturday 24th March, 1-3pm. This is for all Juvenile and Adult members. Please avail of this opportunity to pay your memberships, same fees as last year. There will be gear available to purchase. Memberships MUST be paid before Saturday 31st March to have a vote in the AGM.

U16 Camogie - this young team still require a MANAGER. If you are keen to get involved please speak to MaryJo Mallon or Colum Conlan. This is a vital age group in any sport and we need to give the girls a solid foundation to build their season on. Matches are usually Tuesday nights. Go on, give it a go!

Fixtures for the week ahead - U16 Hurlers are away to Ballygalget on Saturday 24th March, 5pm throw in. Reserve Hurlers away to Ballygalget on Sunday 25th March at 1.30pm. Senior Hurlers away to Ballygalget on Sunday 25th March at 3.00pm

Club Charities - this year the 2 chosen charities we will be supporting are Action Cancer and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. They are 2 very important charities and they do amazing work. We will have a few fundraising events throughout the year, keep an eye out for those.

National League Comp - finished last week and we have a winner - Kevin Coulter with 56 points and joint 2nd was Michael Hughes and Marty Mallon. Well done and thanks to all for taking part.

 

Lotto - numbers this week 4, 7, 22, 26. £30 consolation prize to George Magee. Next weeks draw on 21/3/18. Next week's jackpot now a massive £5900. Thank you for the continued support, £1 to enter. If you're not in, you can't win.

Season Tickets - are available again for this season for £30. For this you gain entry to Senior Camogie, Intermediate Camogie and Reserve Hurling matches. It is a bargain.

 

Club Maintenance - on Saturday 24th March at 10.30am. If you are free, come on out for couple hours and lend a hand. Every little helps. We will be having a general tidy up. Spread the word.

 

Down Club Draw - we had no winners in February. For the in house draw for our own county draw members, the winners were £50 Gary Mageean and £20 Niall Smyth. Next draw at the end of March. All members need to be fully paid up, March payments now due, along with any outstanding February payments.

 

Easter Sunday Entertainment - Music in the Park with Conor Martin. Entry is free and music is from 7-10pm. Everyone welcome.

 

Special Club Meeting - on Wednesday 28th March at 7.30pm. This is to discuss the proposed Club Development. The meeting is open to all MEMBERS. Please come along and see what future plans are in place

 

Sponsor a Match - this season we are giving local businesses and families the chance to sponsor a match ball for each home game. We have 8 Senior Matches and 8 Reserve Matches in the Antrim Hurling League, and 6 Senior Camogie matches in the Down League.  A pre match photo with the captain or player of your choice will be taken, and it will be promoted on the Club Facebook, Twitter and in the local newspapers. Big thanks to our Health and Well Being Officer, Tracey McVeigh, for taking the time to speak with our Juvenile Teams regarding Mental Health issues and well being. Anyone can speak to our club officers at anytime.

 

1 in 10 young people have mental health problems. Remember there will always be someone for you to talk with - your friends, your Family, a teacher or a coach. It's good to talk.
