Anthony Molloy arrives back in beautiful Donegal with the Sam Maguire Cup back in 1992
Anthony Molloy could be set for a role on the Donegal county board executive.
The 1992 All-Ireland winning captain from Ardara is one of six nominees for the position of vice-chairman. A critic of the county board in the past, Molloy will face competition from outgoing vice-chairman Danny McNamee, Mick McGrath, Dan Harnett, Denis Ellis and Sean McGinley if he allows his name to go forward.
Children's Officer Mick McGrath has also been nominated for the chairman's post which is currently occupied by Sean Dunnion. With Jim Quinn stepping down as PRO, a contest is expected between Ed Byrne and Oisin Cannon.
