Donegal's David Walsh has returned to full training.
The All-Ireland winner has been out of action since injuring his shoulder in a club championship match last October.
Walsh has been working hard on his rehabilitation and is set to make his comeback in a club league match this weekend.
"I would be hoping to get a half at least and then I would hope to get another few club games in the coming weeks as well as getting back to full contact at training," Walsh told the Donegal Democrat.
"I feel I am ready for the contact now. It is a lot stronger than it was. At county training there are bigger sided games that I would get involved in first and then the four v. four stuff where it is hell for leather. If I can stand that I will be ready for anything."
If Walsh has no reaction to the next few weeks, he is sure to come into the reckoning for the Ulster championship clash against Tyrone on May 26th.
