Naomh Muire 2-08
Bundoran 0-011
Naomh Muire secured two valuable league points at the Banks. In very difficult conditions they played better football throughout the game and with an 11 point lead at half time they comfortably finished the stronger. Bundoran found it difficult to get into the game
The wind blowing straight across the field made scoring difficult, and it was 17 minutes before Naomh Muire got their first point through Shaun Yank Boyle. They added two further points and on the 22nd minute Shaun Yank set up Tom McHugh for a goal. Aidy O'Gara added another point. The referee then awarded Naomh Muire a penalty, which Paul Yank finished comfortably to the net. The home side went in at half time with a 2-05 to no score lead.
Sean J Boyle converted two frees before Bundoran got a score from Alan Russell. Scores were hard to get in the conditions and Tom McHugh finished the scoring with a point.
This was a good victory for Naomh Muire, which gives them their second victory in the league.
