Updates from the Naomh Mhuire, Gaeil Fhánada, Naomh Adhamhnáin, Aodh Ruadh, Naomh Brid, St Naul's, An Tearmainn, Letterkenny Gaels and An Clochan Liath clubs.

Naomh Mhuire
Under 8 coaching will continue in the Sports hall in Dungloe on Saturday at 11am. Under 10's will start at 12 noon. A Child protection course will take place in the clubhouse on Wednesday 16th February at 7pm - all coaches who do not currently have a child protection certificate are asked to attend. There will be a committee meeting this Thursday 10th and all committee members are asked to attend.

The ladies committee are holding a quiz in Casadh a' tsugain this Saturday 12th Feb @ 9.30 sharp. Please come out and support this venture as the club has entered 3 teams in competitions this year at u14, u16 and junior level. Peil na mBan need your support.
Underage Presentation will take place on Sunday 20th February at 2:30pm at the club house at the Banks. This will be preceded at 2:15 with the underage registrations. 15 euro per child or 30 euro for two or more children. Membership must be paid by all.
The Big Fight Night has been confirmed for Saturday March 12th in the Aislann Rann na Feirsde. Tickets will be on sale at Mc Devitts, Siopa Chroiscli, Moore's Loch an Iuir and The Cope (Annagry & Kincasslagh). 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for under 16s. Óiche mhaith craic geallta!!!

Wednesday 2nd March - Games To Develop Football 12 - 18, Castlefinn. Wednesday 30th March - Games To Develop Football U.10 & U.12, O'Donnell Park, Letterkenny. These are organised by county board and all coaches are encourgaed to go along or contact Gary Boyle.

Gaeil Fhánada
Gaeil Fhánada would like to thank all who supported the Bazaar on Sunday evening last, all who supplied home-baking and gifts and all who helped set up the Hall and worked on the day. Special thanks to the Hall Committee for the use of the premises and to John Dorrian who was MC for the day. Thanks also to all who supported the Table Quiz in the Lighthouse Tavern on Friday night, to Charlie and staff for their help and sponsorship and especially to Lawrence Sweeney for a very entertaining quiz.
The Valentines Traffic Lights Disco takes place in Atlantic House on Friday Feb 11th. Be there for a great nights fun!
Membership for 2011 will become due in March. All players from U8 to Senior level are reminded that they must be fully paid up members of the Club in order to be covered by Insurance, and a motion passed at the AGM this year requires that at least one parent for each underage member should take out membership. 2011 membership rates remain at last years level of €30 for Adult and €5 for Underage. A special deal for €120 individual or €200 for couples includes membership, a weekly Lotto entry and ticket for the annual Dinner Dance, paid up front or in monthly instalments. Membership will be collected on Saturday 19th February at Rosnakill Resource Centre, under-age from 5.00-6.00 and Adult from 6.00-6.30.Please ensure that your membership is paid as no late entries can be taken this year.

U 12 Boys training is starting on Sun 13th Feb in Rosnakill Resource Centre at 11.30, all players to wear trainers as training will be indoors for the first 4 weeks. Any new players in over 10-12 age group most welcome to come along. The Senior Ladies continue pre season training on Thursday at 7.00 and on Sat morning at 10.30 at Trialough, new recruits welcome. The Senior and Reserve teams are also back in training with the first competitive football already set, the Gaeltacht draw sees the Seniors away v N Mícheal in the preliminary draw on the weekend of 28th Feb, and the Reserves are home v Na Rossa in the first round, U 15's were drawn v Na Dúnaibh and the Ladies draw has still to take place.
Lotto: No Jackpot winner this week. Numbers drawn: 1,2, 5, 11 & 13, bonus 14. €100 winner was Noreen McConigley, Doaghbeg, and €50 winner was Susan Crerand, Glenvar. Next draw for Jackpot of €4600 takes place on Friday night in the Lighthouse Tavern.

Naomh Adhamhnáin
Congratulations to all the winners at the Senior Board Presentation Night last Friday night in the Mt. Errigal Hotel. Club Person of the Year went to the popular Andy McGlynn. Conall Dunne picked up the Senior Footballer of the Year award while Packie Kennedy won the Young Footballer Award. Mark Timoney won the Senior Hurler award with Colm Flood winning the Young Hurler gong. Stephanie Crampsie won the Ladies Player with Rose Boyle collecting the Young Ladies Footballer silverware. Dancing King Eddie Blake got the Senior Reserve Footballer Award with Cathal Roache and Andrew McGovern picking up the Junior Player of the Year awards. Joe Kealy won the Hurling / Camogie Person of the Year with Paul McGovern winning the Minor Board Person of the Year. Hugh McClafferty picked up the Cultural Award and Benin Thornton was the Minor Football Player of the Year. His teamamtes collected their Co. League Div. 1 medals. The Ladies from Strictly Come Dancing also picked up a little momento of our fantastic December fundraiser. Adrian Shiels picked up a very well deserved Special Appreciation Award. The ever-popular and hard working Barney McMonagle became the first ever winner of our Lifetime Achievement Award. If anyone wants to know the epitome of a true clubman, just see Barney.
The new Minor Board will hold it's first meeting this Wednesday (February 9th) in the Clubhouse at 8pm.
Alot of the Underage football, hurling and camogie teams are back training once again indoors. All managers are reminded to give collected monies to Treasurer Dermot asap.
A Foundation Level Hurling Coaching Course will take place in O'Donnell Park on the evening of Friday February 11th & Saturday February 12th (day). If you wish to complete this course please contact any of the hurling/camogie coaches. Training on Wednesday for U-10 & U-12 hurling/camogie 7pm in the Aura. Training for the U-6 & U-8 hurling/camogie is on Friday 6:30pm in the LYIT. U12 & U14 Camogie every Sunday in the Community Centre at 11am. Membership forms for 2011 will be available during the training sessions.

Congratulations to Eamon O'Boyle on picking up his first victory as Donegal Senior Ladies Football manager against Galway at the weekend.
There were two winners in this week's Lotto. Both players matched all 4 numbers and share the jackpot, winning €515 each. The numbers are: 2-8-10-17 and the lucky winners are Ciaran McIntyre, Fernhill and Sharon Ferguson, The Grange.

Aodh Ruadh
~ DINNER DANCE
The social event of the year is almost upon us! The Aodh Ruadh dinner dance takes place on Saturday 12th February in Dorrian's Imperial Hotel, Ballyshannon with the throw in at 8pm. Tickets have sold exceptionally well since going on sale. With only a limited number remaining and time running out, it is advisable to get them while there are still a few available in order to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be purchased from Mace, Mr G's, McGahern's Butchers, Mary Matthews at Shannon's Corner, the Abbey Garage as well as from any club member. With the Aodh Ruadh Ladies football intermediate league and championship winning team and the Aodh Ruadh junior hurling champions, along with the 1986 and 1987 senior football championship winning teams all being honoured on the night it sure to be a bumper attendance so make sure you get your tickets quick.
~ MEETING ~
There is a meeting of the finance committee tomorrow night, Tuesday 8th February at 8.30pm in Dorrian's. All club members are welcome to attend.
~ FOOTBALL ~
There is a meeting of the football board on Thursday, 10th February in Dorrian's at 9pm. All committee members are asked to attend.
We have pictures from Donegal's National Football League opening match against Sligo. Again, another impressive outing from our own Peter Boyle.
Indoor underage training continues for under 10s, 12s and 13s this Friday 11th February in the New Hall at Colaiste Cholmcille. Under 10s are training between 6pm and 7pm. They are followed by the under 12s and under 13s between 7pm and 8pm. There is a charge of €2 per head. Please bring runners as no other footwear is allowed. Parents/Guardians are asked to please collect children promptly after their session is finished.

~ LADIES ~
Congratulations to Donna Rogers on her recent engagement to Thomas Lipsett. Best wishes for the future to Donna and Thomas.
Senior and under 16 ladies training will take place on Tuesday evening in the Mercy Hall at 7pm, Thursday at 7pm in Aras Aoidh Ruaidh and Saturday morning at 11am in the Park. Players are asked to bring reflective jackets, if possible, on Thursday evening! There will be a charge of €2 on Tuesday evening to help cover the cost of the hall.

~ COACHING CORNER ~
Donegal Sports Partnership are organising another module of the Sports Psychology programme which was delivered before Christmas. The module 'Motivating Athletes and Teams' will be delivered on Friday evening February 25th and Saturday February 26th in the Parish Hall in Stranorlar, behind the Catholic Church. Michael and Marty from Train your Mind will deliver the module on behalf of University of Ulster, Jordanstown. The course is open to all levels of coaches and well worth doing.
~ REGISTRATION ~
Club membership for 2011 is now due and all club members are asked to submit their registration form and fee at their earliest convenience. In order to be entitled to the rights of a full member, a person must have their fees paid to the club on a date before March 31st and be registered by the club on the online system in order to have a vote in the upcoming membership year.
A few further points to note.
· Only fully registered players on the GAA online registration system are allowed to take the field for the club. If your name is not in this system you are ineligible. That has repercussions in terms of insurance cover for injuries.
· Registration is an important component in meeting the running costs of the club.
· Only fully paid up members will be eligible for the draw for tickets to the football and hurling All Ireland finals.
· Club membership will be displayed in Aras Aoidh Ruaidh.
Membership rates are as follows: Adult, €30; Adult Player (Includes insurance cover for the year), €50; Underage (Under 18 years-of-age) €15. Registration can be paid to Mary Matthews in Shannon's Corner or Assistant Secretary, Marita Maguire, Cloghore, Ballyshannon. The club requires a fully registration form with each fee. Registration forms can be downloaded from aodhruadh.org. Sub-committees will also be organising registration sessions in the coming weeks. Underage members will receive a specially commissioned membership card and wallet when they submit their registration.
~ COMMUNITY NOTES ~
Ballyshannon Drama Society present for one night only 'Steel Magnolias' in the Abbey Centre at 8.30pm on Thursday 17th February.
~ LOTTO ~
There was no winner of the €10,000 Aodh Ruadh Lotto jackpot last Sunday. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 12, 13, 16 and 18. Naomh Brid
Bord na Nóg held a successful presentation for the gallant u16 and minor teams of last season in the Country Inn on Sunday afternoon. A good days craic was had by all who attended and the club would like to thank the Country Inn for the use of the venue and the food.
The club expresses its condolences to Eddie McCaffery and family on the death of his mother Nora. Ar dheis Dé a raibh a hanam.
The clubs annual Dinner dance will take place on Saturday the 19th of February in the Abbey Hotel. This is a sit down, 4 course meal with music by The Real Deal. Tickets are currently on sale from any member of the executive at a reasonable €20.
Training for Senior and Reserve team members on Rossnowlagh Beach, Wednesdays at 8pm and in the Community Centre, Friday at 8pm.
Membership for the coming year is now due at a reasonable €30. This can be paid to members of the executive and players can pay Donal Martin at training.
This weeks lotto numbers were; 8, 13, 14, 20 and 21. The winners of €25 were; Matthew Gallagher, Laghey, James Cassidy (c/o 7 arches), Benny McGuiness and John "Lepra" Gallagher. The jackpot now stands at €8150 and next weeks draw takes place in O'Carolans Laghey.

ST. NAUL'S NOTES
SLOTTO
There was no winner of last weekend's slotto jackpot. Winners of 40 Euro each for nearest to correct sequence were Geraldine + John Griffin, Turrishill & Seamus McGinty, Selacis. The sequence drawn was 4-5-3-7-6-2 & 1. This weekend's jackpot will be 1,070 Euro.
MEMBERSHIP
Club membership is now due for renewal and can be paid to any member of the club executive. Cost of membership remains the same as last year i.e. adults 40 euro and juvenile 30 euro. Club members will be given priority in all matters throughout the year including match tickets.
TRIP TO LONDON
Club members are travelling to London for the weekend of 4th to 6th March to include playing a challenge game against Tirconaill Gaels on Saturday 5th. Anyone interested in finding out more about the trip is asked to contact Brian McCabe.

C.L.G An Tearmainn Club Notes

Minor Board:
Held a very successful presentation night last Sunday at the Lagoon Termon a great evening was had by all. Underage registration for 2011 takes place on Saturday 26th of Feb from 4-7pm at Kilmacrennan Hall. The registration evening is for all underage players from national school age til U18 for boys and girls.
The playing pitch at the Burn Road will be closed for all training and games until Sunday 21st March. This is to allow for re-sodding at the goal mouths and maintenance work required to the playing surface.
Any manager/player that has CLG An Tearmainn Club gear from last year please return it to Joe Mc Daid ASAP.
Dinner dance is on Saturday 26th February at the Lagoon, Tickets are 25 euro for adults 20 euro for students. Given the outstanding success of the ladies team we are expecting a full house and would encourage all members to purchase their tickets soon. Music on the night by the Bizz.
A bazaar will take place in An Craoibhinn this Sunday 13th February from 2-5pm. Anyone with any items which they wish to donate are asked to leave them at the Craoibhinn on Saturday after 2pm or contact Anthony on 086 3672353 or Sara on 086 8566660. All items are welcome including books, CDs/DVDs/Computer games, clothes, shoes, ornaments, unwantedChristmas presents etc, etc. There will be prizes galore to be won on the day so please come out and support your local club.
