A new GAA-inspired dating website has gone live in the past week.

LoveGAA.ie is the brainchild of web designer Dermot Lawless from Ballyshannon in Co. Donegal. He came up with the idea after seeing an advert for a dating website during last year's All-Ireland football qualifier between Donegal and Clare in Ballybofey.

"The ad said that they could find a partner based on 29 levels of compatibility," he said.

"But I thought there really is only one level of compatibility - whether your partner likes GAA games or not." Tweet
