Donegal boss Declan Bonner has cited Sunday's Super 8s clash with Tyrone as the most important game to ever be played in Ballybofey.

The Tir Chonaill men welcome Mickey Harte's charges with an All-Ireland semi-final on the line and Bonner knows that they'll have a battle on their hands to gain victory despite their fantastic record at MacCumhaill Park.

"There's a huge amount at stake and it's against our north-west rivals," Bonner told the Irish Mirror.

"It is probably the biggest game ever to be played in Ballybofey in terms of its importance, with an All-Ireland semi-final place up for grabs."

On the opposition this weekend, he added: "Tyrone are extremely well organised. "Mickey has achieved everything in the game as a manager and it will be a huge task to break them down."
