Another great turnout for U6 FUNdamentals last Saturday. Same again this week with all boys and girls born 2012 and 2013 invited to come along to Kilmacrennan NS at 10am on Saturday morning.

A huge thanks to everyone who helped out with the U8 and U10 games on Saturday last at the Burn Road. Almost 40 U8s showing the momentum in recruitment in recent years is paying dividends. The boys and girls enjoyed great games against a very well coached Glenfin with Daireann and his fellow coaches being delighted with the standard the boys and girls have shown already. At U10 two Termon teams played 2 Glenfin teams for 60 minutes.  The standard of football was very high for so early in the season, well done to all our coaches. Thanks to all who helped out with post match tea and food. Termon 1 lined out as follows: Anthony McCole , James Friel, Tarlach Diver, Brendan Cunningham, Joey Gorman, Liam Bonner, Cormac Sweeney, Jack McFadden & Barry Doherty. Termon 2 lined out with John Cannon, Jake Burrowes, Fionn McGrenra, Damhan McGettigan, Shea Kelly, McKenzie Friel, Michael Moore, Charlie Gorman & Ronan Cunningham. Thanks to all for the fantastic refreshments provided, it's really appreciated. Parents will get this weeks schedule in the next day or so.

Our U12 boys recorded two wins last week. Our " Maroon" team defeated Downings in their first league game of the season with a great team performance. At the same time our "White" team entertained Letterkenny Gaels and put in a superb performance in a really enjoyable game that both sides played in a very sporting manner. Thanks to the Gaels for the great game. Tomorrow night Glenswilly B are the visitors to the Burn Road, all boys to be there for 6pm.

Our U14s are due to play their first competitive game next Monday in the Northern Donegal Gaeltacht Semi final. Parents will get details later in the week.

Performance of the week came tonight from our U16 boys who overcame a highly fancied Gaoth Dobhair team, as well as overcoming a further brace of injuries and extremely difficult playing conditions to earn a place in The NRB Div 1 League final with a 2 point win in Magheragallon. A super strike from Jamie Grant in half one added to by a cool finish from Lorcan Callaghan in half two were huge scores. A massively mature performance from Trevor Alcorns team who once again were missing a third of their panel, despite this they controlled the game for huge amounts of the 68 minutes played and when their backs were to the wall in the closing stages they showed huge courage to keep the ball and Jack Alcorns late point gave them that breathing space that was needed. It was great to see Emmet Maguire back playing and he did all that was asked of him and with Bobby Mc Gettigan Conor Cassidy and Marty Steele in control at the back Jack Alcorn and Aaron Reid getting through a mountain of work around the middle third and Mark Gallagher and Jamie Grant providing the options up front it was a great way to reach the NRB Div 1 League final, something that seemed a long way off a few weeks ago. Every one of the boys showed the true Termon never say die, battling, full on commitment Well done to everyone involved and good luck in the final boys
