Senior Football: Glen hosted Ballinderry on Saturday afternoon for the second round of the league. Despite Glen playing against a strong breeze the first half was very evenly matched with the sides going in level at the break on a scoreline of 7 points each. With the elements in their favour in the second period, Glen would have expected to push on, however two early fisted goals gave Ballinderry a lead they never relinquished and proved to be the difference between the sides at the end. Glen scorers Stevie O'Hara 0.05, Danny Tallon 0.02 and Conor Convery 0.02, Paul Gunning 0.02 and Tiarnan Flanagan 0.01. Next up is away to Magherafelt next Sunday.
