Derry supporters have been urged to come out and support the team in their droves by manager Brian McIver.

Speaking to the County Derry Post, McIver stressed that the supporters can play their part in the team's clash against Down at Celtic Park on June 2nd.

"June 2nd at Celtic Park is a big, big game for Derry. We need everyone to play their part and that includes the support as an integral part.

"There is no reason why we cannot bring 15,000 people to that game. It will be a wonderful occasion for the community in a special year for the county and we will be doing everything in our power to make sure we get the right result." Tweet
