Minor training continues on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7.00pm meet at the chapel. Please see coaches for more details. The Minors lost out away to Foreglen on a scoreline of 1.10 to 1.08. Despite playing well throughout, the game was still in the melting pot with 5 minutes to go, but the Foreglen men's craft and guile sneaked it for them at the end.
Senior training continues on Tuesday nights at 7.30 pm at Top of the Hill Community Centre and Friday nights at 8.15pm at Immaculate Conception College. The Seniors beat Bellaghy Thirds at the weekend on a scoreline of 1.14 to 2.07. Despite dominating all over the pitch, Pearses couldn't convert this domination to the scoreboard, shooting a total of 24 wides, missing several goal chances and dropping numerous attempts short. Dominant midfield performances in midfield from Paul Quigley and Enda Lindsey with Kevin McKenna was strong in defence. A positive for Pearses was the Senior debuts of two Minor players - Lee Deery and Peter Sheeran - both coming on as subs, and playing very well. Scorers were: Colin Murray 1-1, Dee Starrett 0-5, Michael McNaught, Conor Houston and Din McLaughlin 0-2, Ciaran McKenna and Enda Lindsay 0-1. Next up for the Seniors is a home fixture against Doire Colmcille this coming Sunday (12th May) with a 3.30pm throw in time.
