Bradley rues missed chances
March 08, 2010
Paddy Bradley pointed to Derry's tally of 16 wides as the main reason for their defeat to Kerry.
"We started off well, but missed scoring chances and gave them a couple of soft scores," the Glenullin sharpshooter said.
"Five or six of a difference would have been a fair reflection on the first half, but we didn't take our chances and we lived to regret them."
Manager Damian Cassidy, meanwhile, was unhappy with his side's ball-winning ability.
"It was a ball-winning problem. When Kerry got on top, they went through a phase, really for 10 minutes in the second half, where they dominated practically all of the breaking ball which is where we lost the game," he said.
