Cassidy receives welcome boosts

Damien Cassidy
Derry manager Damien Cassidy has welcomed some of his most experienced players back into his squad ahead of this Sunday's trip to Killarney, where his team play champions Kerry in Division One of the NFL.
For the first time this season, Cassidy will have All Star forward Paddy Bradley at his disposal after his recovery from a niggling heel injury, as well as Ballinderry defender Kevin McGuckin, who is back from a medial ligament injury but is not yet fit enough to start.
Raymond Wilkinson is also fit again after overcoming a knee problem, while Paddy's brother, Eoin, is back from suspension, and McGoldrick brothers, Barry and Sean, have returned from Australia and are back in training with the squad.
"It is a much healthier picture squad-wise than a few weeks ago," Cassidy told the Irish Daily Mirror. "We have a lot of players available who we haven't been able to get our hands on up until now.
"The Thursday night before the Dublin game we had to draft three players into the panel who really weren't ready, just to make up the numbers.
"Thankfully, the situation has improved and Kevin McCloy and Eoghan Brown have another three weeks work behind them too so we're in better shape."
