Kingscourt used all of their experience but only the crucial save at the end kept them in it. Its heating up nicely now."

Match fitness is better than three nights of repetitive training anytime.

The system no too bad just needs a bit of tweaking.
Top 8 should all qualify together on score difference , no playoffs.

Bit presumptuous that Castlerahan will beat Cootehill!

Correct the league system itself seems a decent format its these play-offs that are holding it up so your prob right a top eight qualifying by score difference would make a difference. quarter finals should all be played the same weekend, two double headers

yes presumptuous in both games but id be fairly sure the favourites will progress.....cootehill struggled to get over a poor ballinagh side conceding plenty in the process, castlerahan should have enough to see them off, as for the other game the gaels are flying at the moment and a will have too much for a div 2 team

If this was done in the premier league it would be called a world class save Mr O Rinn, Credit where it is due. Killygarry dont have it when the going gets tough Im afraid. A young team but this is a mans game I'm afraid. They will be a quarter final team for many more years.

Would agree with the consensus that Killygarry are missing a bit of backbone. Were the better team and still found a way to lose. Should have pushed on at 9-6 and let more early ball into Conor Smith instead of trying to hold on to possession and getting turned over. Kingscourt seemed to be carrying a number of injured players also including Barry Reilly who still showed his class with a couple of fine pints and a brilliant pass for the goal. Barry Tully and James Farrelly were both excellent. World class save from Farrelly at the end.
Don't think the Gaels are as far ahead as people think. Would expect every game to be close from here on in including Gaels v Crosserlough. I think if young James Smith is available he can provide lots of primary possession for them from winning kick outs, and McVeety is also hard stopped at club level.
Would still see it as a Gaels Ramor final all the same.

Cootehill did draw with the Gaels and I expect them to give Castlerahan their fill of it.

In Senior, Arva relegated to Intermediate after losing to Gowna yesterday. Lacken v Cuchillians and Ballinagh v Mullahoran next weekend with the two losers also relegated to Intermediate.

In Intermediate, Killinkere and Drumlane relegated to Junior while Denn play Killashandra next weekend with the losers also being relegated.

Slowly but surely the fixtures are easing and the Championships are starting to shape.

McVitty is hard stopped..however I feel the gaels have more players that will be harder stopped.

i think the gaels operarted with 14 men from as early as the 2nd or 3rd minute in that game plus there was nothing on the line for the gaels that night

Are you joking there was and well you know it something called unbeaten run and the greatest thing since slice pans reputation.

Killygarry definitely bottled it again sat eve. Where much the better team for 3/4 of the game but couldn't see it out. Kingscourt not setting the world on fire but the reliables like Alan Clarke, Joe Dillon & an injured Barry Reilly still better than what most teams have. Ramor looked better than I had saw them previously & seem to have got a bit of zip back in them. Conor Bradley going off injured could be a major problem for them as they need his class against the bigger teams. Even though cootehill will put it up to Castlerahan it looks like the big 4 in the semifinals & hopefully some cracking games left

if they were worried about an unbeaten run sean they would have fielded against kingscourt in the league, that put a 1 in the loss column

Gaels will run riot against Crosserlough without getting out of 2nd gear. Will be a Gaels V Ramor Final, with the Gaels coming out winners by 6/7 points. They've found their mojo again, their will to win is back, the hunger is back - this Gaels team will dominate for the next 5/6 years.

REALLY Read back posts made about your Gaels where people stated no one would get within 8 points of them. Did I read recently your reserve team were beaten in a final of all matches jesus this must be hard to take. One trophy you will not have to dust.
