I'm speechless after that I was expecting spirit fight never die attitude which we saw last year and not once in that game was that there I don't know what went rong before hand but that was like watching the same old cavan how do we come back from this defeat I don't think we can I taught we'd bounce back from league final but there was no improvement where worse at times I don't see us doing anything in qualifiers unless we get the likes of Wicklow or someone along those lines

Old story, Cavan looked complacent both in team selection and management on the sideline. Time to stop playing silly games with announcing and changing teams, what kind of psychological preparation is it for players? They don't know whether the management have or have not confidence in them. Cavan team selected on basis of keeping Jamie Clarke out of the game , it didn't work and Cavan management looked clueless. Too many easy frees conceded, too many cards and indiscipline in defence and at least 3 players started today not up to the pace. Hard questions to be answered, no excuses or we are in the early stages of a backward slide. Well done to the lads for their hard work, your management owe you better service.

Too loyal to certain players, form goes out the window as some players start no matter what, serious questions need to be answered by management

Have got to say that I am surprised at this. I thought that Cavan were lively outsiders, very lively outsiders for ulster this year, but seem to be as far back as ever. I saw armagh twice this year, and they were very poor, so they must have upped the anti at training or whatever. Cavan on the other hand must have tried to be too tactical. will know more when the highlights of the game are up online. What was the scrap about?

The team is hamstrung by negative tactics - whoever they get in the qualifiers i hope they ignore the management and decide among themselves to just go out and play positive football and let the defenders defend - i d rather be beaten playing football than that nonsense

I really felt Cavan would win this game, until Armagh got a lucky goal Cavan were still in the game, Disgraceful scenes in front of young band people, and Martin dunne getting injured in this brawl which started before the game, action should be taken against those who started all this, even the Armagh guy shouting at Keating at the end of first half, Armagh i felt were doing terrible things in order to win,i felt the ref had a bad game overall, i feel the Cavan lads will learn from this game and if they all stay together, they will bounce back, best of luck to Cavan,in 2 weeks time, and Armagh as they face Monaghan, Tyrone.

Very poor effort. No spirit shown and the manager hadn't a clue what to do. Cavan going backwards.

I think its time for a change with management and selectors straight away. favoritism with certain players doesnt work, negative play and no game plan, its no point having theses good u21 teams if we aren't going to take the players from it, only defenders. the junior team would probably beat the team that was lined out today. change has to come before its too late.

Word has it the Cavan men started brawl pushing Armagh lads during parade line up. Any witnesses care to shed a light on what went down?

I watched the u21s this year, and it seemed that the Cavan team only sprung into life when they abandoned the defensive game at the very end of the ulster final 2 months ago. I think that there is potential in the cavan team, but will have to go back to basics, and hopefully dunne will be back in business for you the next day. Cant believe that the team fell for the flag thing. Having said that, its the first time I heard about it so i can see how players could have reacted blindly. Crafty Armagh!

just back from game have to say was bitterly disappointed they just seemed to be in slow motion no one looking for the ball at all gilsenan was the only one to me who made any effort today and when the lad kicked it out to the middle of the field they stood still in time looking for it when he kicked it short they threw it back to him mid field and the half forward line were brutal flannigan was asleep as for the brawl not sure who started it but it was stupid lets hope they can pick themselves up from this
