Monaghan manager Seamus ‘Banty’ McEnaney has revealed that he has always relished facing Mickey Harte during his managerial career.

The duo have met on a number of occasions over the year and will renew their rivalry this Saturday when they meet in the Dr McKenna Cup final.

Both managers will have an eye on the start of the NFL the following week but for now it's about picking up a bit of silverware.

“Myself and Mickey have a long history. I’ve managed against him before and I’m looking forward to doing so again,” McEnaney told the Ulster Herald.

“Mickey is the King of all the managers. He’s been there longer than anyone else. One thing is four sure, if you were playing Tyrone in skittles at a cross roads it would be competitive.”
