Hard to argue with that. Hope it's tighter going into the second half.

Looking forward to it. Should be a good game.

Tyrone drew with Dublin in the last league game in Croke I think, a game they probably should have won, I think Dublin got a dubious free kick to draw it. I would certainly take a draw this time with Tyrone's position in the league.

really need Colm Cavanagh back, organises the defence and there's no better sweeper in the game. Also a great option for kick outs. The last few games with the Dubs have followed a similar pattern, Dublin get ahead after a purple patch and hold Tyrone at arms length. Tyrone cant let Dublin have a 10-15 spell where they run riot because its game over.

I will optimistically go for a draw.

A win for either would go along way to seeing one or the other potentially in a league final, so hopefully a ding dong.

It's a good test once again for the younger lads another chance to get solid game time against the current 2nd best team in the country.

Looking forward to another battle v Tyrone

A win here for Dublin and they'll be one game away from the final. It all depends how Tyrone setup.. do they go with their 2017 or 2018 approach

Just don't think Tyrone have the forwards to get a win and if required Dublin can bring in the quality options that Tyrone lack in comparison

I wonder will Cluxton get the nod.. I'd like to see himself and Rock start

Hoping for a good match and disappointed with start of this thread. Tyrone play no different than any other county at the moment. The blue wall will meet the red and white wall but the blue variety has more quality players. A draw would be great result for us .

Tyrone can beat the lower ranked teams but have not been able to defeat any top team in a number of years now . Dublin generally beat us, Kerry and Mayo as well. We stayed up last year in league by beating all the lesser division one sides and it's the same trend again this year. We got to all ireland too without meeting any of the top teams. So if tyrone did manage a win it would be major break from the norm. Anyone know if Kilkenny plays...class act.

Tyrone have always given a good account of themselves against Dublin in the National League at Croke Park and I would expect the same this time. Great improvement from Tyrone since the National League break and this seems to be a trend from last year.

Tyrone hammered Mayo in the league last year and they also beat Kerry. Both Donegal and Monaghan were a level above both those counties in the championship last year and Tyrone beat both of them.

To be fair if Tyrone had of played either Kerry or Mayo last year id say Tyrone would of beat them. Monaghan had Kerry beat until last kick of game and finished ahead of them in Super 8's. Mayo beat by Kildare.

I think the only non-Ulster team that Tyrone have beaten in Croke Park from QFs on in the last decade is Roscommon.

It would be a great result at this stage if we were to get a win or a draw. I'll settle for the draw ! :)

Happy days. I don't Philly is as good as he was. Don't get me wrong, still a good player, but seems to have lost a bit of pace.

Id tend to agree, he hasnt repeated a year like 15 when he had a good shout for POTY, but its in him, not sure on the pace myself more sloppy and poor decisions offensively would be my criticism, though hes good for pulling one or two out of nothing and taking the game on regardless of the game of circumstances.

When the chips are down and you need a leader and a fighter then you want Philly in your corner. Well capable at doing damage up the other end of the field as well. Definitely think he has lost a bit of pace but the stamina is there, will keep going all day long.
