Should be a great final. I believe most fans wanted this matchup. I predict Corofin by a point. Trump2020 (Galway) - Posts: 2129 - 16/02/2019 17:12:04 2165723 Link 1 |
Yes definitely the two best teams in the country, Crokes for me their forwards are class. But what a final to look forward to can't wait. Killarney produce's some forwards imagine if Clifford and James O Donoghue (both Killarney born I think) played for Crokes Wow.

Should be a great match and good start to Paddy's Day festivities in the capital. Crokes forwards will be tough to mark, so Corofin have to tighten up on that. When Kevin Cassidy ran at them today, he opened them up pretty handy. Two best teams in the country, so could be epic final. NarrowBack914 (USA) - Posts: 181 - 16/02/2019 17:49:28 2165734 Link 2 |
Yes definitely Corofin for the win and also St.Thomas' in the hurling too.

I see only one winner - Corofin with a bit to spare. Physically stronger and more powerful , they'll shut down the Crokes handy enough. Kingdomson (Kerry) - Posts: 244 - 16/02/2019 19:32:10 2165763 Link 3 |
It should be a cracker! Corofin look the more balanced side but the Crokes full-forward line are capable of doing serious damage if they are given any room. Buckley will be a big loss. It could easily go either way but I give a tentative nod to Corofin. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 996 - 16/02/2019 19:53:01 2165770 Link 1 |
I was in Limerick for their semi final 2 years ago. The Crokes inside line got a lot of space early on and did plenty damage. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 2046 - 16/02/2019 21:08:52 2165787 Link 1 |
Hopefully we will get a game of football, if players like Ian Burke, Gavin White & David Shaw are allowed to play, it might show that Gaelic football should be all about skill & not athleticism. Uimhir.a.3. (Galway) - Posts: 409 - 16/02/2019 21:17:09 2165789 Link 1 |
Handy enough? I don't think so but I hope you're right.

They'll be no scarcity of talent on the field that's for sure.

Gavin White is Jack Mccaffrey's twin footballing brother. When Whites running with the ball it's like everyone around him is running backwards he just glides away, Kerry are going to dominate pretty soon way too much talent coming tru not to. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 16/02/2019 21:39:03 2165799 Link 5 |
It wouldn't be our first time to do a double...remember Salthill-Knocknacarra. And Portumna

Come on Corofin- we can and will beat the Crokes. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2520 - 17/02/2019 16:52:12 2165894 Link 3 |
the reality for other teams is when Kerry come again it will be history repeating itself with Dublin Kerry finals the norm unless they meet earlier like a semi so for the likes of galway we have to hope that if were good enough to get to a final we can win one now and again rhudson (Galway) - Posts: 1478 - 17/02/2019 20:55:52 2165983 Link 0 |
Hope im wrong about the club finals rhudson (Galway) - Posts: 1478 - 17/02/2019 21:08:25 2165984 Link 0 |
It's anyone's game. Both Galway teams have won it before too so they won't be intimidated.

Two teams who play positive attacking football. Should be a close game but I'd fancy Corofin to come out on top. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11236 - 18/02/2019 10:13:34 2166071 Link 6 |
