Yes but take athletics, do the figures represent people jogging? or competing? Billiards hmmmm how many clubs? registrations? Aerobics - are we having a bit of a laugh here, do they count ladies footballers who do aerobics!!

GAA is great at promoting women in sport. At lots of clubs over the country, nippers of either gender are trained by adult coaches with the same respect and diligence as if they were adults. It doesn't matter who or what you are, everyone is treated the same.
