Down v Meath

Replying To RoyalClass:  "Leaders aren't moulded. You've either got it or you don't. Donal Keoghan is a natural leader for example and why the captaincy was taken from him is beyond me."
He had it during one of the worst periods in Meath football, so him been a leader (which he is ) wasn't any benefit to players around him. There was always going to be a new captain under Andy, couldn't keep the same one. Graham has lead by example since been appointed, even in Kildare game when very few others bothered.

Replying To Htaem:  "Win tonight and we get our league campaign back on track, lose and we're most likely going to be playing for consolidation. I think a win is very much on the cards, Down aren't currently at their best and if we perform then I think we're in with a good chance, but that's the million dollar question, will we perform? It's nearly impossible to know what to expect out of Meath these days, we'll wait and see"
Heading now. Best wishes to Andy Graham and co. This will be a win , I feel it in my waters (either that or I have a kidney infection)

We are 5 points down and paddy has cost us 5 points directly in that half. Flat footed for the goal and those ridiculous short kickouts. Infuriating

Can you all stop with this delusional promotionot talk. It was clear from January we weren't good enough. Relegation fodder again. Wake up people.

Very poor tonight. Persisted with long ball into Sheridan for too long. Down were just better at getting the hand in, tackling and breaking even though we were on top in midfield.

We have no leaders at all apart from Keoghan. Forde tries but discipline becoming an issue. Graham Reilly needs a serious shake up. Captaincy should be returned to Keoghan and tonight's game clearly showed that. Time for someone else to get a shot in goals too.
