Intermediate Football Championship

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

This could be one of the most interesting intermediate championships in years. Over the last few years there has always been one team that is is above the rest EX ratoath and colmcilles. This year there is no real favourite and I'd say around 8 teams or more fancy there changes of winning the cup. Who do youse think are the favourites and outsiders.

My favourites would be Walterstown and dunderry and my outsiders would be syddan if they can get there full team out with no injuries.

Any one of Trim, Curraha, Walterstown and Dunderry could do it. If I had to pick I'd go for Curraha, very open though!

Would fancy Trim to be at the business end. Good mix of youth and experience.

Yeah, but they would need a big step on on the performance against Dunderry last year.

Totally agree. I think there is a big mental problem in there in regards to they think against certain teams its a case of showing up.

if Ballivor could get all their players out they could be contenders.

Why is Rowe out for the year ?, I assume that means he won't be on the 21's ?

i fancy Oldcastle to go far this year, they have won a few minors in the last few years. New manager as well.
