Unfortunately didn't get to match. Great win for all concerned. Fantastic.

I was there, was an awful day to play football, pitch was soaking, ball was like a bar of soap. First half we were by far the better team and used the breeze well to get scores, mostly working it through the hands with runners off the shoulder. 2nd half we really struggled for a 20 minute period. Not only did we not score, we couldn't get out of our own half. We were actually lucky to be 1 up. They had 2 goal chances saved by Brennan (excellent shot stopper) and hit the post with a handy chance for an equalizer. The bottle of the team, Mitchell in particular was excellent. This team has earned its way to Croke Park. Wins over Kildare, Dublin and Derry (who beat Tyrone). I am very excited and can't wait for the semi final

11th or 12th of August as a curtain raiser to one of the senior semi finals. We are playing Galway next. Not sure whether it's the Saturday or Sunday

If Galway top their Super 8 Group which they look like they will, they will play in the Sunday Semi Final, you would have to imagine that the minor game will be before hand.

Tickets on sale, have mine got. Very very excited about this game. Have no idea what Galway will be like. Beat Mayo by 3, Ross by 4 and Clare by 8. I have faith in this group of players and managers, hopefully they can do it

Have been in this position a few times with Dubs games after Meath. I'd usually wait till the Dubs go up by more than 6 and leave then

Tickets are still for sale on the GAA web site. The only problem is it seems that all the family tickets are gone. I bought 3 tickets yesterday - €45 each. A couple of lads from the club involved with the Minors so want to support them!
