Mary was the mother of Seamus and Aidan Cassidy who played on the St. Marys team that won the Junior championship in 1979. Seamus  lined out in goals while Aidan played at full forward. Seamus moved to Dublin afterwards and joined the Dublin Fire Brigade. Aidan lives in Laytown.
