The members of Trim GAA club were saddened by the death of Lyda Andrews in January 2017. Lyda has significant links with the club, through her son John, daughter-in-law Mary, grandsons Ryan, James and Darragh and grand-daughter Haley. Her son John is and has been an outstanding member of the Trim GAA club over the years as a hurler, footballer, a mentor and coach. Her daughter in law, Mary has played camogie and ladies football for the club and is currently involved in coaching. Her grandsons Ryan and James Andrews and Darragh Kennedy are current hurlers and footballers in the club and her granddaughter Haley Kennedy is a present day camogie player. May she rest in peace.
