The GAA And Taking The Knee. - 4 Like(s)
Given our history I will always side with the oppressed, unfortunately BLM are a farce, founded by billionaires and passed of as representing a force for positive change, 64 people shot in Chicago last weekend (not a misprint and sadly not untypical), just about all black people shot by other black people. Approx 8500 black people murdered in the US last year under the same circumstances. No outrage or protests from BLM about this ongoing carnage, no mention in the controlled Irish press as it does not fit the agenda of their moneyed masters. Its a complete farce and scam, they do not care. Taking the knee is a sick joke.

Monaghan To Represent Ulster - 2 Like(s)
As an Ulsterman I want representation in the AI semi final, Monaghan should be asked to represent Ulster as the beaten finalist of Ulster

In reply , it is damaging to have other sports available to our young people and not GAA, we will loose players, also I do not think local politicians made this decision

Just like to say that hopefully for the next lockdown we will not allow our GAA sports to be pushed aside as before, especially when the local politicians are not making the decisions, it id at a minimum discriminatory against GAA

Replying To KillingFields:  "It wouldnt be discriminatory against the GAA There is many other sports who havent played in long time while GAA got to play last summer .... On what grounds would you consider it discrimination?"
Calling other sports "elite" and the GAA "non elite", allowing other games to be played and not the GAA, is that not enough of an insult? I still think it also involves a cultural aspect, look at other European countries, their individual cultures are being steadily eroded, you can only use loose so much before you have to say its gone, eg. putting tiny numbers of people out of churches when the mega stores are open, the GAA is Irelands biggest sport and is branded worldwide non elite, Wake Up please

People should educate themselves before talking, I suggest watching the very in depth "What killed Michael Brown". Made by a great black film maker, it is the case which started the "hands up dont shoot protests". There is a concentrated effort to divide people along any line possible, division is the agenda. How many of the people taking the knee know who George Soros is?, he wrote the refugee quotas for Europe, recently increased from 45m to 75m, how about we stop creating refugees. How many people know who controls the currency currently being used in Ireland? People are being used as disposable pawns. We have to step outside the information being fed and educate ourselves, taking the knee is agenda driven and a sign of submission, btw, BLM are not welcomed by many black Americans. This is Marxist driven, read about the attempt to introduce "critical race theory" into US schools as its coming to Ireland soon

Thanks to Oisin Mc Conville for finally speaking out about this. Besides being the best community based organization on the planet, GAA sportspeople far outperform any other sport in Ireland. We have the largest spectator sports in Ireland yet rolled over when told by govt its not elite like soccer or rugby. I could ask why (obvious) but prefer to say Wake Up, Comments?
