Cavan v Roscommon

Have to say I was happy with that win .apart from a silly goal we let in we should of beating them by more .the rossies wearnt near as good as I thought ,there were strong running at defences at speed but once we broke that down early they looked poor enough ,we had a couple of great goal chances too ,if we had Mackay tonight running at them no doubt we would of got a few handy frees too ,one note I was really glad to see management replacing rory dunne (yellow card) straight away even though we missed him ,overall I thought we deserved the win well done !

Wouldn't class that as a 'flukey goal' the ros forward showed poachers instinct and did well. Game was flat enough at times, lots of mistakes especially from Roscommon , I would say both sides will improve a lot for next day

Exactly, that type of goal is trademark for Senan at this stage. Dreadful game of football not sure can either side take much out of it. I would hope both can improve for the final or it will shocking viewing in Croke park.

You can only beat whats put in front of you so dont belittle us. Of course it wasnt your strongest team . Nobody in cavan is lighting metaphorical bonfires. But its better to win than lose. Oir average score for hasnt changed. Still 14 points. Our average conceded hasnt changed much either.

Yeah there was fireworks too, mightn't bother turing up for the League final.

You can always rely on Roscommon to win or lose with no grace. That's why everyone in Connacht can stand the sight of you.

I wouldnt say the rumours are bs. What happened is true but obviously all has been dealt with in house and the lad is back from his suspension/concussion

clash of two players one come out of it worse than the other, 35 minuets waiting for the ambulance. Thankfully we had Josh Hayes on hand to keep everything under control. Standard lay of for concussion is two too six weeks.

I think really this is not necessary, might be worth noting both teams played with most of their second string, this will not be the starting 15 for either team come croke park and I expect their wing half back will miss this match. Top of the table what more can be asked off them

Nice to get a win but lets face it, it was a nothing game. Croker will tell us more about where we are at and we have good reason to thinkbelieve that we can win that game. I like the fact that we are closing out these close games and winning!

Oddball - your mates are waiting for you down at the treehouse! Run along now like a good boy.

Oddball all that's wrong with you is you now know that your not as good as you thought you were ,I seen your old post saying "roscommon is a far better team than Cavan ,well it didn't look like that to me ,you just make other posters dislike roscommon ,anyway from what I seen I wouldn't get too excited about the championship or all the rubbish talk about toppling mayo because your light years away from there level ,take your beating gosson
