Hard to understand taht posters gripe with killygarry given the geography. my own feeling was taht the town lads were not liking the progress that has been made. a handful of good footballing families pushing the wheel. nothing to do with population. thanks lad.

Replying To Creilly_Baby:  "you keep changing your point lad. first it was the 3 schools and now killygarry NS is a monstrosity. and i've never heard of one suburb being bigger than the actual town itself. working people from the town wont be coming up to crubany pitch when its 5Km outside the town nearly up the side of slieve glah. no matter how good the set up is. annoying how killygarry folks never had a big problem with gaels lads contesting county finals before. now the big fish in the pond is throwing its jealous weight around."
'working people from the town wont be coming up to crubany pitch when its 5Km outside the town nearly up the side of slieve glah. no matter how good the set up is'

That's funny, because lads travel from different parts of the Country down to their clubs for training and dont have an issue with that, 5km is hardly a journey. In any case, doesnt McKiernan live in the Bridge yet travels 8km to TerryCoyle Park, so your argument is muted. T

cavanblueman must live on hoganstand, post after post of pure nonsense. What a bitter little man. Obviously no life and his obsession with Killygarry is disturbing.

Having been on a well deserved holiday in the sun returning late last night, it was nice having a break from the HS for a while.
But a few things I learned from being away and reliant on some whatapp messages from very knowledgeable friends, Ramor were beaten by an excellent Crosserlough team who look odds on favorites for the championship and deservedly so, given the work that has been put in at every level on and off the pitch and are a blue print for every club in the County. A good friend who was in Lacken on Sunday compared the Mullahoran/Killygarry match to a bad junior championship match and said the skill levels and errors from both teams were atrocious.
Another good friend from Kingscourt was happy with their win but admitted some decisions went their way.
A good win for Gowna, tighter than many expected but missing a few players, so already things are starting to take shape.
Gaels need a win Thurs night against their neighbours, but to be honest, it should be a formality for the Gaels really, as Alex Ferguson's team talk when UTD played Spurs was 'lads, its Spurs', I should imagine the Gaels team talk will be something similar, but if Killygarry can get over the mental block and minimise the childish mistakes, who knows.

More nonsense talk, it's no wonder you quit the drink as I can only imagine to gibberish you sprouted back then.
You must be sick with Ramor and the Gael losing. Time to go scouting around Maghera think they've a few promising players coming through.

Every dog has its day, Spurs beating Utd at weekend with ease. Cavan Gaels and Ramor look like two clubs on the downward slide for the coming years.

Every dog has its day for sure, but its the results over the course that counts!

As for Ramor and the Gaels on the downward slide, you having a laugh, Ramor were senior champions in 2021, and a number of underage successes in the last few years. The Gaels are doing trojan work at underage, u15 championship winners last year, they'll be in the running for the minor championship this year and no doubt will get to a semi final of the senior championship.

Nonsense lad. talking up and down teams as it suits you on a weekly basis. youd wear crosserlough were 2022 ulster champions cuculainns and ramor both bate at the weekend and you are back here slabberin off. and you had a very good friend at every match that suits you. mullahoran were no pushover I can assure you of that. a tit for tat game with a big crowd in attendance. killgarry saw it out even after some dodgy officiating that even mullahoran supporters were giggling at. still a very young team but will silence another few mouth pieces before this seasons is out. apparently killgarry are in a for a big hiding this weekend as well. talking to a few gaels men yesterday and i can tell you they didnt sound as sure of themselves as you are. and it wasnt always that way

Not sure what you're talking about in the Mullahoran Killygarry game. A good game, with nicely taken points, well taken placed balls off the ground, and a come from behind victory, and a tight injury time as Mullahoran pushed for the draw. A good level Senior game for this stage of the competition

What dodgy officiating was that? Thought the ref was grand, let a lot go to let the game flow and you did need to work hard for your free, but that was for both sides. If anything, thought Mullahoran should have had a free in before Killygarry broke up the field for their 2nd goal. That was a big swing. But overall he was fair to both sides on balance

Mullahorn a very young team and will be a tough fixture for anyone at Senior this year. It's a shame they're missing Killian

Stop will ya, Killygarry had a chance to win a senior title last year and they blew up, they'll never get a chance at a senior title again for a long long time. They have as good as chance to beat the Gaels Thursday night as they'll ever have, no McKiernan and a few others missing but I still think the Gaels will have too much for them in terms of experience and footballing ability. Killygarry are a two trick pony, give it into the corner forwards (which they are slow in doing) and if that doesnt work, they have no plan b.

That's it indeed. We missed Gunner hugely and I'd say we'd have won that game with him on the field. He's that big a presence for us. But aye, good young team that are coming and learning a lot
