But a few things I learned from being away and reliant on some whatapp messages from very knowledgeable friends, Ramor were beaten by an excellent Crosserlough team who look odds on favorites for the championship and deservedly so, given the work that has been put in at every level on and off the pitch and are a blue print for every club in the County. A good friend who was in Lacken on Sunday compared the Mullahoran/Killygarry match to a bad junior championship match and said the skill levels and errors from both teams were atrocious.
Another good friend from Kingscourt was happy with their win but admitted some decisions went their way.
A good win for Gowna, tighter than many expected but missing a few players, so already things are starting to take shape.
Gaels need a win Thurs night against their neighbours, but to be honest, it should be a formality for the Gaels really, as Alex Ferguson's team talk when UTD played Spurs was 'lads, its Spurs', I should imagine the Gaels team talk will be something similar, but if Killygarry can get over the mental block and minimise the childish mistakes, who knows.

As for Ramor and the Gaels on the downward slide, you having a laugh, Ramor were senior champions in 2021, and a number of underage successes in the last few years. The Gaels are doing trojan work at underage, u15 championship winners last year, they'll be in the running for the minor championship this year and no doubt will get to a semi final of the senior championship.

A good game, with nicely taken points, well taken placed balls off the ground, and a come from behind victory, and a tight injury time as Mullahoran pushed for the draw. A good level Senior game for this stage of the competition

Thought the ref was grand, let a lot go to let the game flow and you did need to work hard for your free, but that was for both sides. If anything, thought Mullahoran should have had a free in before Killygarry broke up the field for their 2nd goal. That was a big swing. But overall he was fair to both sides on balance

They have as good as chance to beat the Gaels Thursday night as they'll ever have, no McKiernan and a few others missing but I still think the Gaels will have too much for them in terms of experience and footballing ability. Killygarry are a two trick pony, give it into the corner forwards (which they are slow in doing) and if that doesnt work, they have no plan b.
