Replying To asdfg:  "Just when we taught the Cavan gaa heartbreak book of stories were closed off until 2024:

Brave performance √
Winning position √
Two point lead ✓
Find a way to lose ✓
Fall to knees in disbelief ✓

At what point do we stop calling this unlucky?

In all fairness, hats off to Gowna, they are one hell of a side who show more character than Ramor, Kingscourt etc in this competition.
But it's time to change the narrative, don't become another hard lucky story of Cavan GAA."
As above.

Cavan teams, you just can't make it up.

Ballyhaise did what they do best threw that final away by far the best team over the hour but in the last ten minutes completely lost their heads. kicked two scoreable frees backwards and took the last one short. Another glorius one point defeat by a cavan team.

Best of luck to Arva today. Seems they've had a good start at least. Game is live on TG4s YouTube channel

Very professional performance by Arva, will be some final now against Listowel.
On a seperate note , that ball didn't look like it had crossed the line for Milltowns goal? Fair play to Arva though, they had the maturity and the know how to push on after that.
Anyone see what happened to Arva number 10 at the end ? Big strong lad hope he's ok for the final.

Congrats Arva. A good win. Hit slightly tighter for a time in the 2nd half but pulled away again. Listowel next week a different proposition, but great win today. Go on and do it now

Didn't think it was a goal either, but no odds. The Milltown 14 stamped down it looked after the Arva lad held his leg first. So a bit of both really initially, but the retaliation far worse

A very good win but I would be concerned about the fitness of Ciaran Brady who just didn't look right today…. He gave the ball away a lot and had very few of his trademark runs.. looked to be feeling his hamstring… Hopefully he is ok.. Easy to see why they were 1/6 to win this game… Milltown were very poor

Correct. It's the weakest due to the quality of county teams. Louth, Carlow, Wexford, Westmeath,Laois etc

In the last 21 years… out of the 42 finalists….. 4 have been from Leinster …

County teams provide players to the junior clubs?

What's your excuse for the connaught winners from mayo only scoring 3 points in their semi final. Mayo not getting far enough in the all Ireland series the last 10 years?

Good luck to Arva in the final. What a wonderful occasion today was and just imagine an all Ireland title landing in Arva in a week's time. They put on exhibition today kicking 2-16 on heavy ground. A confident bunch who are very well coached.

I'm pointing out that league form does indicate championship credentials. Playing in Div 1 has hugely benefited Arva and fair play or them. Miltown played Div 4 opposition all year. Generally junior champ teams play in Div 4/5/6 of their counties so it's a novelty with Arva and it's why they are winning…

I'm sure you want cavan to play Div 1 and not Div 4?

The last time Cavan played Monaghan in championship, they'd just been relegated to division 3. Yet, Cavan won against the so called superior team! In Cavan, we don't share your obsession with league positions. Championship is where its at. Yes we want to play in the higher divisions but would I swap the 2020 Ulster title for a few wins in relegation battles to stay in division 1, absolutely not!

Well Swad made the junior final in 2011 but lost to a Kerry team- let's hope that bit of history doesn't repeat!

This is the 3rd time a Cavan club reached an All Ireland junior club final… Drumgoon actually won the first final played and as you say Swanlinbar reached the final in 2011 after controversial circumstances when they actually lost the Ulster Final….!
