Most clubs failed to win a championship last year. Your argument is totally invalid.

Sounds like your from a team in the same parish that's in decline and a bit bitter!

Not in the parish, not bitter, no agenda, just pointing out the facts, you can have all the facilities in the world but if the coaching right, then you'll win nothing.

Who is showing early signs of form across the three divisions in the ACFL?

You would have to say Laragh and the Gaels are flying it in Division 1 this year.

Lavey and Knockbride showing well in Division 2. Major stepup from Division 2 to 3 as my own club have found out.

Denn the early pacesetters in Div 3 it seems; Looks like Maghera will end their long search for a win this year and could potentially win a few games going by the early form in Division 3.

Drumalee are managed by 2 Cuchulainns club men at minute. They took some hiding from Cuchulainns at weekend, no mercy shown.

Surely the county players will be lining out for the clubs this weekend

Word has it that Graham won't release them… I find this hard to believe with no County games for a while but if it is true Mickey Graham should be run before a ball is kicked in the Taltainn Cup…. No point in wrapping up the type of lads we seen last weekend

Find it hard to believe that there is still 4 teams in contention for promotion from division 3 and 2 and 4 teams still in contention for relegation in each division.
On what planet does a team with 20+ points still need to win a one of semi final to secure promotion. I'm not overly surprised though, if there's a way to do things arseways this country board will find it.

Whats worse is that Arva played Division One League this year but will play in the Junior Championship.

Whats worse about that. In both competitions on merit.

No disrepect meant to Arva, they competed very well in Division One and with their County players, they wouldbt have a problem beating a lot of teams, but I'm saying if league positions dictated your place in Championship, then teams would take it a lot more seriousl.

Why was there no extra time in the drawn league semi final tonight? Last years final went to extra time and no replay! Why replay for semi and not final.

Might have been the conditions. Lot of water lying on page for second semi.

Hopefully it wasn't the county board looking for another payday.

Why was the National Anthem played before one league semi-final last night and not before the other ,either play it before both or dont play it all , its the county board acting as if one match was more important than the other , they were both semi-finals .

You don't attend too many games I take it? The anthem is only ever played, as by tradition, once at a venue per evening.

Thats not answering the question , why play it at all at a semi-final , and I guarantee you I have attended a hell of a lot more matches than you .

I very much doubt you have. Anyway, the idea of playing the anthem multiple times at any occasion, in this case a double header, is seen as diluting its importance. This has always being the case. Your question is not one I'd expect from someone who claims to go to a lot of games. The anthem isn't even played twice at big double headers in Croke park!
