Fair play to Kildare . Makes for a good div 1 next season hopefully. If it was 10 team division Galway & get there act together cork you would have a cracking league with a straight knockout championship..

This was terrible , meath didn't trouble a poor dublin display today ,can't believe they let dublin keep ball in the meath half near end for 2/3min ,what were they afraid off ??

Kieran McGeeney Stay With The Team - 3 Like(s)
Hoping that kieran will reflect positively which I'm sure he will . This team came from Div3 without any winning minor/ u20 teams even ulster winning club sides which we had in the past to pick from . I genuinely feel kieran gets some terrible press from outside the county and a very small group of haters inside the county . (He has done a good job rebuilding a team and I am proud of the results I see this year .. I feel its time the county board looked at changing some top positions & thinking around underage development in the county .. maybe when folk take a look at some of the hammerings the underage teams have got in last 5yrs especially ,you may appreciate the outstanding work from senoir management to get a team holding there own with the top teams .. some forget quickly joe karnan (2002 )came into a winning team and guided them extremely well to get over the line but the building of that great team was started in 93/94 ..

Replying To befair: "Allowing his player to go for goal form 60 yds out in the last few mins instead of keeping possession was a cardinal error." Disagree armagh didn't have a big enough lead to sit back and hold possession, did you watch the game both armagh & monaghan were full throttle in your face football from start to finish , armagh needed a few more scores and only for a few miss hand passes they were home & dry .. when armagh sit back they lose leads to div 2 & 3 sides .. if you think armagh didn't win because of management on Saturday I seriously can't see your point .. we are massively disappointed not getting to an ulster final ,but no blame directed at players & management on this occasion..

Fair play to monaghan, hope they can produce in final again .. I honestly didn't fully appreciate how good a player Rain O'Neil is until today what a mighty man big powerful and got all the skills .. don't live in ireland anymore , home visiting and was lucky enough to get to game today ..

Looking forward to ulster championship donegal with a fit MM and tyrone still the teams to beat . Looks like everyone else is closing the gap at this stage ,maybe a few games going to extra time ..
