Replying To KYTotalFootball:  "My bad. I'm sorry you're right Ulster teams always play man on man 15 on 15 football and never resort to mass defences and cynical football."
You obviously didn't watch schools final today or any Armagh club football or even Crossmaglen over the last few years. I hate this term 'Ulster football' . I always thought we were part of the one country. Cynical play was about long before Tyrone, Donegal and Armagh started winning All Irelands.

Qualifier Ticket prices #Greedy GAA - 1 Like(s)

Replying To Burnsey:  "Will bring the kids to the Qualifier in Newry on Saturday. Once I scan season ticket, have never had to pay for the kids"
You will this weekend. I had to in Portlaoise. These southern boys must get too well paid if they reckon €20 is good value to watch Armagh v Laois! Charging for kids is wrong IMO.

Did Laois use 7 subs ? - 1 Like(s)

Replying To Monaghan Exile:  "A technical mistake, with absoutely no bearing on the result. Armagh should say "thanks, but no thanks""
And then face a penalty themselves for not fielding? It should not be forgotten that Armagh did nothing wrong. They did not lodge an objection either. They are following the rules. They also had the overall majority of support who face the travel costs and travel time again. A 5-6 hour round trip is not a gift.

Ulster Team Allege Sectarian Abuse. - 1 Like(s)

Replying To PeggyShippen:  "Yeah a few thoughts spring straight into my mind. One the 'abuse' if it happened is not sectarian. Both teams were more than likely predominantly catholic and Irish and one of the 2 teams could reasonably be called both Irish and British if we go by facts. Who says there aren't kids on the team who consider themselves British.. 3 its always striking how thin skinned our Northern Brethern are. Why are Northern Irish teams so thin skinned. Is it pure insecurity ? I thought we were beyond this , apparantly not. Being continuously a victim is in no way empowering."
I assume you realise that some will find the term 'Northern Irish' in itself offensive. It is also quite obvious from your post that you did not live through the stuff those in parts of the 6 counties did. Most of all though this sledging and belittling of others has to stop. If it was your child being picked upon you would want something done.
