Round 3 Qualifiers - 5 Like(s)
Armagh Mayo will be tie of the round. This could be game of the year. Both teams just go for it. Armagh possess Irelands most exciting young player Rian O'Neill. Mayo a team full of good footballers. I expect lots of kickpassing in this. Mayo will probably edge a high scoring shootout. Armagh are capable of anything though. Thats the danger for Mayo that if Armagh click they can be dangerous opponents. Kildare Tyrone will be a headless chicken handpassing borefest. 2 gym manufactured teams. Avoid this one. Diving gymboys will probably bore Kildare to defeat. Ref will need eyes in the back of his head for this one. Clare could be surprise packets and make Super 8's, fast lively skillfull team. I expect an upset here and expect them to beat Westmeath. Laois Offaly. Hard to call. 2 teams everyone was looking to draw. Might tip Laois here.

Armagh Vs Galway - 4 Like(s)
The most surprising part of the incident was Morgan was jostled and goaded but he walked away from Comer. Everyone was expecting a reaction. Nope he walked away and the first man who would have got vilified and a 6 month suspension was clever enough to save himself. The GAA then had a massive problem, how to penalize a few from Armagh but also someone from Galway to make it look half even.... but also leave the instigator Comer fit to play in semi. I'm guessing they made a scapegoat from one of the subs.

I like to tune in to watch Ursula Jacob. I nearly set the house on fire ripping a waste oil burner and watching her at the same time.

Quarter final time in Gods country. Crossmaglen Rangers vs Silverbridge - Verdict: Cross should have enough. Local derby game though. St. Pats Cullyhanna vs Maghery - Verdict: Tight. I'll tip our neighbours Cullyhanna. Ballymacnab vs Pearse Og - Verdict: Not sure here. 2nd and 3rd favourites. Might tip the Ogs. Granemore vs Madden - Verdict: Granemore Keep this thread updated from around the counties!! Some of us have more interest in club football than county football.

Mayo V Armagh - 2 Like(s)
No. Armagh are too open at the back. We are OK going forward. Armagh are too reliant on the Cross lads to work some magic. We failed to beat an average Cavan team and finished off a Monaghan team who were teetering on the edge of self implosion. I believe it will be a great game as Mayo are an attacking team like us. We are a bit naive in closing games. Maybe Mayo are a bit similar in that regard. But Mayo have a lot more experience of big games than us. I expect Mayo to play better than they did against Down as they improve along the qualifier route. I think they will win by about 6 points. 2-18 to 1-15 is my prediction.

Might listen to this game on Northern Sound if its on it. Those 2 biased Cavan commentators make me laugh. They always blame the ref for everything.

Moving the club finals from St. Patricks Day is sacrilege. Most young players I know dream of lifting Andy Merrigan on St. Patricks day representing their club. It was a huge success. Why change it? St. Patricks day became a great day for the clubs football and hurling. Then the GAA decide to relegate it to January. Can't believe it to be honest.

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Really playing devil's advocate here. But wouldn't it just be peak Mayo to finally find a way to beat the Dubs after all these years, but then to go and lose the final against Kerry/Tyrone?!?"
I've resisted in believing the curse. But if that happens I'm going to reconsider. Either that or God is a Galway man.
