Replying To royaldunne:  "That's what I'm thinking. Just relax, I'm not been disrespectful but if we lose by 10 plus points on Sunday , we have no business been in division one. I still think Fermanagh might win but not be the 10 points"
Fermanagh wont even get 10 points never mind win by 10

Armagh Vs Galway - 1 Like(s)

Replying To Mayonman:  "Hard not to agree with everything u say. I think we should not over react to the pushing and shoving aspect. Certain things need to be called out in the rules specifically: *Headlocks or any neck roll/throw. There is a level of danger attached to these actions more so than even a punch in my opinion. One incident in particular last Sunday looked nasty. These are my pet hate *Obviously interference with the eyes also needs to be called out. *Pushing someone off the pitch is very dangerous with players falling over gates/walls or down stairs and tunnels. On the pitch this is no big deal but we have all seen a small push on concrete cause injuries when studs slip and the player flies backwards *Striking/kicking out is already covered in the rules"
It really is a fine line though if we start bringing in a whole load of new rules like this your going to kill the passion of the game and this is what it was built on. Dan Hughes great article in Irish news. We had our prob our first blockbuster match in nearly a decade due to the passion and emotions running high be strange if emotions werent running high. As a armagh fan i was basically shaking just after witnessing one of the best comebacks ive saw and the biggest roar croke park heard in quite a while even some kerry and mayo fans joining in just for the occasion not even cos they like armagh. its hard to have a close tight match and not spill over. Even the mighty dublin past few years when it was tight got themselves in situations I agree the eye gourge was ***** and he lost the run of himself but how come this is the first ever 24 week ban for it. The outrage on social media is madness.... Actually this society is turning into a bunch of snowflakes.... Some of the hits and passions of the 90s and 00s is what i grew up on and i miss it. The Mayo Kerry game was basically souless

McGeeney gets 3 month ban! - 1 Like(s)

Replying To Soma:  "No it isn't but I get the impression you are very determined to have a moan so carry on. In one game there were incidents missed by match officials, nobody found guilty and no punishment. In 2 other games (Davy and McGeeney) there were incidents reported by match officials, both managers found guilty and both handed the minimum sentence set out in the rule book for the rule broken. It really is straightforward."
All I am going to say on the matter is, if there going to start banning managers for mouthing to assistants then the games in trouble it always happens. I was at the game and were i think it happened was two antrim men were kicking lumps out of an Armagh man and mc geeney ran over and shouted at mc quillan to do something i dont know what he said but it was obvious in that incident that any manager in the GAA or soccer would do this as it was a bad tempered game and he is trying to protect his players. Whats the chances joe mc quillan reffing armagh v down at the marshes lol...... Ahh well least it opens up the whole us against them scenario for the summer no interviews or nothing id say ;)
