Cork boss Conor Counihan
Cork football manager Conor Counihan has stressed that his side are driven on by proving that the Munster final win over Kerry was not a 'one-off'.
The Munster champions head for Croke Park on Sunday where they will be favourites to defeat surprise packets Kildare, although Counihan stressed that the Lilywhites will receive the respect they deserve.
Counihan believes that they squad are keen to go one step further from last year's appearance in the All-Ireland, although the Rebels are taking it one game at a time.
"The issue for us now is to make sure this year's Munster final wasn't a one-off, and our intention is to build on that. We have been taken it game by game all year, and they way we are approaching the match against Kildare is that it's our All-Ireland final," said Counihan.
"That's how big a game it is for us, and we will be giving Kildare the respect they deserve, but I don't think we need to fear anyone at this stage."
