All quiet on the domestic front

A number of club games have been postponed to facilitate Cork's preparations for the All-Ireland SFC final.
As the Rebels prepare for their September 19th clash with either Down or Kildare at Croke Park, the County Board has called off the premier intermediate games between Clyda Rovers and Grenagh, and Bantry Blues and Nemo Rangers, as well as the IFC clash of Cill na Martra and Kilworth V Aghada in intermediate hurling.
As Cork are nursing some injuries and manager Conor Counihan admits they have "an awful lot of work to do" ahead of the All-Ireland final, there will be a few quiet weeks on Leeside now. The calm before the storm...
