Canty to be fit for final

Cork's Graham Canty
Cork captain Graham Canty is expected to be fit for next month's All-Ireland football final against either Kildare or Down.
The Bantry Blues clubman aggravated the hamstring injury he picked up in the quarter-final win over Roscommon against Dublin on Sunday and was forced to retire at half-time.
Canty had a scan to determine the extent of the damage yesterday and Cork are confident that he will be available for the decider on September 19. The fact that he has four weeks to recover this time is very much in his favour.
"Graham tweaked his hamstring in the first half and was replaced at half-time, however, he will be fully recovered for the final," said Cork team medic Dr Con Murphy.
