Canty to undergo scan

Cork's Graham Canty
Graham Canty will have a scan on his injured hamstring later today which could determine if he will be able to play in next month's All-Ireland final.
The Cork captain faces a race against time to be fit for the September 19 decider after he aggravated the hamstring during the first half of yesterday's semi-final win over Dublin and was forced to retire at half-time.
There had been doubts about Canty's participation up until the throw-in after he suffered a Grade 2 tear in the quarter-final against Roscommon.
"He would have aggravated it in the closing stages of the first half," Cork manager Conor Counihan explained.
"It's too early to say. We'll have to get the medical people in so it won't be tomorrow until we finally know, but the fact that it's reoccurring isn't a very positive thing."
