Cusack autobiography on the way

Cork's Donal Og Cusack
Cork goalkeeper Donal Og Cusack is set to tell all in a new book to be published before the end of the year.
The Cloyne man is equally as well known for his hurling achievements as for his involvement in the GPA and the player strikes which have rocked Cork GAA in recent years. He was a central and divisive figure in the three political collisions between the Cork players and county board since 2002, and it's been confirmed that he is now writing his autobiography in conjunction with Tom Humphries of the Irish Times.
A press release stated: "With extraordinary frankness and detail, Donal Og Cusack tells the story of his life on and off the pitch and of the dramatic row that has kept a great and proud hurling side on the sidelines.
"It promises to be the frankest and most controversial book by a GAA player in the history of the organisation."
Contrary to speculation, the book will not be called 'Lift and Strike'.
