Canty: More to come

Cork's Graham Canty
Cork captain Graham Canty is in no doubt that the Leesiders are far from the finished article as they prepare to face Limerick in the Munster SFC final. Following their replay win over Kerry in the semi final, Cork have been installed as strong favourites for the provincial title and many see the game as a forgone conclusion. However, Canty was keen to play down Cork's chances and stressed that they have a lot of work to do yet, before they can be considered genuine contenders for the All-Ireland title. "Too often in the past we have gone out and failed to do ourselves justice, and over this season's league we seem to have brought a bit more consistency into our game," said Canty. "At the same time, we didn't particularly play well against Kildare, while Monaghan turned us over in Scotstown, so we are miles from the finished product in this respect."
