Counihan takes cautious approach

Cork manager Conor Counihan is determined to play down the significance of the Rebels win over Kerry in the Munster SFC semi final. The defending Munster champions are now many people's favourites to win the All-Ireland title, but Counihan knows only too well that people can get carried away. The former All-Ireland winner stressed that they are not looking beyond the Munster final where they will play an experienced Limerick side. "We won a Munster semi final, but that's all we've done, and I won't be dwelling on the significance of that for too long," said Counihan. "We have Limerick here next in the Munster final, and that's going to be one hell of a battle. They really put it up to us last year when we were lucky to come out of the Gaelic Grounds with a win, and I don't expect it will be any easier this time around."
