The O'Donovan Rossa senior footballers' relegation play-off clash against Ilen Rovers has been confirmed for Sunday, June 21, at 3.30pm in Moneyvolihane, Castlehaven. The senior footballers maintained their position at the helm of the Kelleher Shield section 2 leaderboard by virtue of two successive league victories against Kiskeam and Naomh Ab·n respectively over the past week. Skibb defeated Kiskeam by five points on a 1-12 to 1-7 scoreline last Saturday evening. Colin Crowley notched the goal for Skibb. On Tuesday evening Skibb held off a determined challenge from Mid Cork outfit Naomh Ab·n to emerge victorious by two points on a 0-15 to 0-13 scoreline after a hard fought encounter.
