Brennan aiming for a resolution

Brennan has underlined the importance of sorting out the GPA's long running campaign by labelling it a "priority".

"It's one of a number of items that we are working on with the GPA at the moment," the GAA President declared. It's a priority.

The minister has said that the money is there and we're working with the GPA to come up with a formula to see can we get our hands on money for the players.

"I would like to think it will happen this year - we're not just talking for the sake of talking, we want to come to a conclusion on this."
