The Late Patrick Madden The death occurred of Mr Patrick Madden of Lisnagry and formerly of Ardnacrusha. The late Mr Madden was well known throughout the region as a top-class dairy farmer and the family name was synonymous with the milk business. In his younger days, he was an accomplished hurler and was a member of the Ardnacrusha team that won the Junior Hurling Championship in 1945. He was also a star player with the Limerick CBS team of the 1930s. He is survived by his wife Ursula, daughters Catriona, Vivienne and son Kevin. He was laid to rest in Kilquane Cemetery.
