The Late John O'Dwyer The death occurred of John O'Dwyer of Torr, Moy. A very popular man throughout the parish, John had a life-long interest in sport and in particular Gaelic Football. He played for Miltown St. Joseph's at all grades usually in midfield, where his high fielding in particular made him a valuable member of all the teams he played with. John's dedication was such that he thought nothing of cycling the six or seven miles to training twice a week and figured on County Championship winning sides with Miltown over the years.
