Kilmurry open SFC defence against Cratloe
May 10, 2013
Three-in-a-row chasing Kilmurry-Ibrickane have been paired with Cratloe in the first round of the Clare SFC for the second year in succession.
The draws for the 2013 Clare SFC took place last night at the West County Hotel in Ennis. A replay was needed to separate Kilmurry and Cratloe in last year's opening round before they met for a third time later in the championship.
St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield, who have lost the last two county finals, will meet North Clare rivals Liscannor, while the clash of Doonbeg and Lissycasey is another repeat pairing from last year. Another north county derby will see St. Breckan's take on Ennistymon.
Newly-promoted O'Curry's will face Shannon Gaels, Clondegad take on Eire Og, while Wolfe Tones and St. Senan's will also lock horns in the first round.
In the IFC, O'Callaghan's Mills, Kilmihil, Corofin and Kilfenora make up Group 1. Group 2 consists of Miltown, Kildysart, Clarecastle and Kilmurry-Ibrickane's second string.
The first round games in the SFC are scheduled for the August Bank Holiday weekend.
