Munster MFC: Keating inspires Banner

Barry Keating was on target with 1-6 as Clare advanced in the Munster MFC at Limerick's expense in Cusack Park.

The left-corner forward struck for the game's only goal midway through the first half and the Banner County led by 1-5 to 0-4 at half-time despite having played against the strong wind.

The home side outscored the visitors by seven points to five after the resumption and will now face Kerry next Saturday with a place in the last four up for grabs.

Fergal Pyne, Jack Browne, James Woods, Eoin Hanrahan and Kieran Malone also impressed for the winners.
