The national football league semi-finals at Croke Park took centre stage today.

With places in the Division One final up for grabs, Tyrone and Kildare faced-off at 2:00, followed by Dublin V Mayo at 3:45.

There was key action in the NHL as well, not least the Division 1A relegation final between Cork and Clare in Limerick at 3:00 - what a thriller that turned out to be! At the same time, Antrim and Carlow met in the Division 1B relegation decider at Navan.

We also had the Division 2A and 2B finals (Laois V Westmeath at Tullamore and Meath V London in Newbridge) as well as the 2A relegation decider between Kildare and Wicklow at Tullamore.

Not forgetting the 3B final between Longford and Sligo, of course.
